Focal ES 165 K

The ES 165 K kit, consisting of 2 165 mm (6.5") woofers and 2 20 mm TKM tweeters, is a compact and easy-to-install system. The Kevlar® K2 Power diaphragms in the speakers of the ES 165 K kit disperse the sound extremely dynamically and perfectly defined. These diaphragms, with ideal characteristics: lightness, rigidity and damping, are associated with the new TMD suspensions. These suspensions, originally developed for Sopra hi-fi speakers, have an exclusive profile that allows the resonances generated to be controlled and distortion effects to be reduced. The 2 TKM inverted dome tweeters are made of aramid fibers. Their exclusive "M"-shaped profile provides better control over the dome deformation and perfectly reproduces high frequencies up to 22 kHz, smoothly and precisely. Their compact crossover filters are quick to assemble and easy to configure. The tweeters are supplied with various mounting accessories and can be installed in the original locations, in angled or recessed mounts. The kit comes with aluminum and mesh grilles.
