Complete set to retrofit electric folding mirrors for VW Golf 8 VIII CD, CG.
The mirrors can be folded by using the adjustment button at the driver's door.
The folding function, while closing the vehicle, can be selected through the car menu in the radio.
Selectable options:
PR No.: L0L (Left-hand-drive car)PR No.: L0R (Right-hand-drive car).
Scope of delivery:
2 x exterior mirrors, adjustment button, coding dongle
*Note:the lower parts of the outside mirrors are black, the painted mirror caps as well as lenses are taken over*
At the moment, the respective control unit must be activated for a limited time before using the dongle. This must be done by a workshop with valid GEKO access.
Compatibility of the door control units must be checked, there are 2 different hardware versions of the door control units (Lowline "3" - Highline "5") required for "hinged mirrors" is Highline.
To determine if you have the right door control units, the part number must be read out by diagnostics.
Example part number: XX0 959? 9X + index letter such as A, B, C
