The TS-D69F 6"x9" 2-way car speaker gives you low distortion and unfailing performance, even in the harsh living conditions of your car. This D-Series polypropylene subwoofer IMPP cone™ is reinforced with strong aramid fibers, making it both durable and incredibly powerful for the best bass experience. A fabric dome tweeter ensures excellent high-frequency performance for accurate music reproduction.
The D tweeter is contoured from lightweight, resin-impregnated fibers of coated polyester fabric and provides extended high frequency performance. The 26 mm diaphragm is highly resistant to the harsh environmental conditions of the car interior (temperature, humidity, vibration, etc.), while maintaining its uniform hemispherical shape to reduce dome breakdown due to excessive vibration at ultrasonic frequencies. The result is extremely low distortion levels and a smooth, natural sound.

IMPP D-series
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough thermoplastic resin, ideal for a speaker cone. The low mass and high damping of a PP cone generate good sensitivity and low distortion. However, polypropylene cones lack the rigidity and strength required for high power and extremely low bass. To overcome this, Pioneer engineers used advanced computer-aided manufacturing to develop a process for blending aramid fibers into the polypropylene resin during the injection molding process. The resulting aramid fiber-interwoven IMPP cone is ultra-thin and low mass with high rigidity and superior strength, built to produce natural, detailed sound with deep, powerful bass.
